Doing Family
Premiere: May 23rd, 2018
Kampnagel Hamburg
»Doing Family«, the new work by Hamburg based choreographer Barbara Schmidt-Rohr, features three children, five intelligent miniature robots and three adult performers as a family, as the smallest political community in a dystopian, natural space. Families are the basis for the individual sense of home and belonging in a globalized world. A world, in which real boundaries and partitioning are once again gaining importance while at the same time they become increasingly blurred in the virtual.
